Spontandom Studio LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the LittleGuest mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
The App is designed to store your data locally on your device rather than in a central database. Information you enter into the App — including your children's first names and associated color selections, party details (invitee names, ages, dates, RSVP status, gift notes), and app preferences — is stored on your device using local device storage and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, except as described below.
1.2 Device Identifier
On first launch, the App generates a random identifier stored locally on your device. This identifier is not derived from and does not contain any personal information. It is used solely to apply usage limits (such as AI scan counts) and subscription status on our backend infrastructure.
1.3 Invite Scanning Content
If you choose to use the App's optional AI-assisted invite scanning feature, the photo or link you submit is transmitted to our backend infrastructure for processing, as described in Section 3. This content may incidentally contain personal information that appears on the invitation itself, such as a host's name, address, or contact details.
1.4 Purchase Information
If you subscribe to a premium tier, your purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is verified through our subscription management provider. We do not collect or store your payment card number, billing address, or other financial account information.
1.5 Diagnostic Information
If the App encounters an unexpected error, a diagnostic report containing the device identifier, an error message, a technical stack trace, app version, and platform (iOS/Android) may be transmitted to our backend infrastructure to help us identify and fix bugs. Diagnostic reports do not include the party or children data described in Section 1.1.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality;
- Enforce usage limits associated with your subscription tier;
- Process and verify subscription purchases;
- Diagnose and fix technical issues; and
- Communicate with you if you contact us directly.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
3. AI-Assisted Invite Scanning
When you submit a photo or link through the invite scanning feature, that content is sent through our backend infrastructure to a third-party AI service for the sole purpose of extracting party details (such as invitee name, date, and RSVP deadline) for your review. We do not retain the submitted image or link content beyond what is necessary to process and return the result to you. Content submitted through this feature is not used to train AI models beyond what is contractually agreed with our AI service provider under standard commercial API terms.
You are never required to use this feature — every field can be entered manually, and you may edit or discard any AI-extracted result before saving it.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following categories of third-party service providers to operate the App:
- AI processing provider — to extract details from invite photos and links you submit.
- Subscription management provider — to verify premium subscription status.
- App marketplace providers (Apple App Store / Google Play) — to process payments for subscriptions.
- Cloud infrastructure providers — to enforce usage limits and route the requests described above.
- Third-party invitation and event platforms — when you submit a link from a public event page, our backend infrastructure may retrieve publicly available details from that page to assist with parsing. We are not affiliated with, and do not represent, any such platform.
Each of these providers processes information under its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review where publicly available.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by parents and guardians to help track their own children's social calendars, and is not directed to children under the age of 13. While the App's content relates to children's activities, the App is designed to be operated exclusively by an adult parent or guardian. Children are not the intended or actual users of the App and do not interact with it or provide information to us directly. Any information about a child that is entered into the App (such as a first name) is entered by the parent or guardian using the App, stored locally on that person's device, and is not collected by us directly from a child. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information directly, please contact us using the information in Section 9 so we can address it.
6. Data Retention and Your Choices
Because party and children data is stored locally on your device, you are in control of it at all times:
- You may delete any party or child at any time from within the App.
- You may export a backup copy of your data at any time, which is shared using your device's native sharing tools and is not transmitted to us.
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data.
Diagnostic reports and usage-limit records associated with your device identifier are retained on our backend infrastructure only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information transmitted to our backend infrastructure, including signed and time-limited requests. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
